Singapore (Oct 10, 2008) – GDC Technology (“GDC”) is pleased to announce that its manufacturing arm, GDC Technology (Shenzhen) Limited, has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification. The certification was awarded by SGS United Kingdom Limited – Systems & Services Certification, the U.K. subsidiary of SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, and certification company.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established ISO 9001:2000 as a family of standards that state generic requirements for instituting a company’s quality management system. ISO 9001:2000 is now firmly established as the globally implemented standard for providing assurance on an organization’s ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.

GDC Technology (Shenzhen) Limited received ISO 9001:2000 certification on August 4th, 2008 after undergoing thorough audits on its manufacturing and management processes by the certification company. “We are proud of this significant accomplishment,” said Dr. Man-Nang CHONG, founder and CEO of GDC Technology. “To date, more than 500 full-length feature films have been released digitally without a glitch on GDC servers.
