With a combined experience of more than 64 years in the cinema industry, the GDC India team brings a wealth of specialized knowledge, with each member contributing more than 8 years of expertise. This extensive experience allows the staff to possess a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics, enabling them to deliver exceptional service and support. The GDC India office is led by seasoned industry veterans:

  • Sachin Shetty, Executive Director of EMEA and Country Head for GDC India, oversees all sales and operational activities across the South Asia and EMEA regions. With a remarkable 25-year career in the cinema business, including over 12 years with GDC, Sachin has been a pivotal force in the industry.

Over the past decade, GDC India has experienced remarkable growth, consistently investing in and upgrading its facilities, technology, and human resources. GDC India consists of a dedicated team managing global services, technical support, sales, marketing, logistics, L&D, and human resources. Below is a summary of each team member and their roles:

India Team

Global Services:

  • Arvind Bhardwaj manages Global Services and IT, overseeing operations and strategy.
  • Satpal Matta assists Arvind Bhardwaj in implementing operational strategies for the Global Services team.
  • Tushar Shetty handles product documentation and conducts webinars, demos and training sessions for resellers and cinema exhibitors.

IT Operations:

  • Vishal Puranik provides technical support for enterprise software and IT services, ensuring effective system performance and issue resolution.

Service team:

  • Basavaraj Gandudi provides technical services for South Asia and EMEA, focusing on troubleshooting and client assistance.
  • Pratik Hiwale, Nitin Khatti, and Sathish Karnan are service engineers who deliver technical support across India and provide after-hours support for the US region.
  • Ratan Talreja, Piyush Bhadeshiya, Prasenjit Roy and Raghavendra M.B. are regional service engineers responsible for technical support in various regions across India.

Inventory Management & Logistics:

  • Prabhat Dubey and Ganeshan Nadar manage logistics operations and inventory levels, ensuring timely product delivery.

Sales:

  • Francis Fernandes assists Rohit Sharma in improving order processing efficiency and maintaining comprehensive sales records.

Marketing:

  • Karthikeyan A. oversees promotion and adoption of the DTS:X for IAB format in cinemas and mixing studios as well as sales support, across South Asia.

HR & Administration:

  • Shruti Mehta, Manager – HR and Administration, oversees human resources and administrative functions.

To solidify its position as a leader in digital cinema solutions, the office continues to expand its footprint aiming at enhancing digital cinema experiences across South Asia.
