Sucessful Demonstration of DSR™ digital film system in Beijing and Shanghai

In September 2001, GDC has successfully demonstrated its satellite transmitted digital cinema solution by showing the Columbia Pictures’ “Final Fantasy” in Beijing and Shanghai. In April 2002, Shanghai Paradise Co. Ltd. and GDC Technology Ltd. will launch the first digital cinema theatre in China at the Paradise Cinema City Grand Gateway Shopping Mall, Shanghai, China using GDC Technology’s proprietary digital film server and Christie DLP Cinema™ projector. The Company is also on target to build an additional 5 digital cinemas by the end of Year 2002.
