GDC Technology Received Investment From Mr Li Ka-Shing

SHOWEST, Las Vegas (March 12, 2007) – GDC Technology, one of the leading solution providers of digital cinema, today announced it has received an investment of US$6.5million from Mr Li Ka-shing – the world’s 9th richest person according to Forbes 2007 report. Mr. Li Ka-shing is the founder of Cheung Kong which is the leading Hong Kong-based multinational conglomerate with a combined market capitalization of the Group’s Hong Kong-listed companies amounted to US$92.5 billion as of Aug 31, 2006.

With the new investment, Global Digital Creations Holdings Limited (a public listed company in Hong Kong GEM Board) and Mr LI Ka-shing are the largest and second-largest shareholders of GDC Technology respectively. The new investment will boost GDC Technology’s development activities in line with company strategy.
