GDC and Megarama Maroc Announce Morocco’s First Tricorne Acoustically Transparent LED Cinema Project

Tricorne Premium LED is designed to combine the visual performance of direct-view LED with cinema-grade sound reproduction. Its acoustically transparent structure allows loudspeakers to remain positioned directly behind the image, helping sound originate naturally from the on-screen action. The solution delivers uniform brightness, super high contrast and accurate vibrant color while preserving precise, localized audio—supporting the premium and immersive presentation MEGARAMA is seeking for the upgraded auditorium. Every seat in the auditorium enjoys a consistently high-quality visual presentation.

Advancing MEGARAMA’s Premium Cinema Experience

With the project, MEGARAMA Maroc will become the first cinema operator in Morocco to introduce a Tricorne acoustically transparent LED cinema screen, reinforcing its position as the country’s leading exhibitor and its commitment to modernizing the theatrical experience through premium cinema technology.

The decision builds on MEGARAMA’s long-standing relationship with GDC’s European team and its confidence in the team’s technical expertise and ability to deliver an integrated acoustically transparent cinema LED solution.
