Cinemex and GDC Technology Sign
Three-Year Agreement as Exclusive Provider of Media Servers

LAS VEGAS, April 15, 2026 –  GDC Technology Limited, a leading global provider of digital cinema solutions, announced today that it has signed a three-year agreement to be Cinemex’s exclusive digital cinema server supplier, replacing its legacy models. Installations will begin in 2026 and continue through 2028. Cinemex is one of Mexico’s leading theatre circuits, operating nearly 3,000 screens in cities such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toluca, Juárez, León, Tijuana, Mexicali, Puebla and other across the country. This three-year agreement includes deploying 1,080 GDC SR-1000 Standalone Integrated Media Blocks, each equipped with CineCache 2TB built-in solid-state storage, ensuring a reliable and efficient system.
