Job brief

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Product Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for our digital cinema technology products and solutions, globally. The ideal candidate will be skilled in explaining technical concepts clearly, creating high-quality training content, and conducting engaging online and in-person training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

Training Delivery

  • Deliver online and in-person product training sessions for customers, partners and internal staff.
  • Conduct hands on product demonstrations and use case walkthroughs.
  • Create and conduct technical assessments.
  • Evaluate trainee understanding and provide feedback and follow up support.
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for new employees.

 

Training Content Development

  • Create, update and maintain comprehensive training materials including:
    • Product manuals & Quick start guides
    • Training videos
    • Training presentations
    • Technical bulletins & release notes
  • Work closely with engineering and support teams to ensure training content is accurate and updated with new features or product releases.
  • Measure training effectiveness by collecting feedback and analyzing responses to improve existing training programs.

Product Expertise & Support

  • Develop deep technical understanding of company products, workflows and industry standards.
  • Act as an internal subject matter resource for product documentation and training related queries.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, technological developments and best practices to continuously improve training quality.

Administration & Coordination

  • Maintain training schedules, attendance records, feedback reports and training dashboards.
  • Plan training events, workshops and certification programs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience as a product trainer in a related field such as IT, AV, digital cinema.
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical topics in simple, clear language.
  • Proficiency in tools used to create product documentation training materials, such as:
    • Presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
    • Document design tools (MS Word, Google Docs)
    • Video creation/editing tools (Camtasia, or equivalent)
    • Screen recording/tutorial software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams and communicate clearly with non-native English speakers.
  • Strong presentation, public speaking, and demo skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to plan, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong report writing skills and solid ability in maintaining training records and documentation.
  • Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) or a degree in a relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, media technology, or related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
