In this video, Loran Abadie from GDC Europe explains how Tricorne Premium LED combines exceptional cinema LED image performance with sound transparency. Its perforated LED modules allow cinema loudspeakers to be installed behind the screen, overcoming the sound obstruction traditionally associated with solid LED displays.

Tricorne Premium LED supports HDR, HFR and bright 3D presentation, delivering deep blacks, high contrast and consistent brightness. Its scalable and modular design can be adapted to screens ranging from 7 metres to 30 metres and beyond, with both flat and curved frames available. It can also support wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling installations for a more immersive auditorium design.

As part of GDC’s complete cinema ecosystem, Tricorne Premium LED can be integrated with the SR-1000 LED Media Server, or the SR-5520 LED Media Server, which is DCI CTP v1.5.0 certified for Direct View HDR and supports True HDR, HFR and 3D presentation.
