GDC Technology Continues CineAsia’s Official Presenting Sponsorship in 2023

BANGKOK, November 28, 2023 — GDC Technology Limited (‘GDC’), a leading global provider of digital cinema solutions, announced today GDC extended CineAsia’s Official Presenting Sponsorship with Film Expos Group. As part of the presenting sponsor agreement, GDC will continue to play a key role at Asia largest cinema convention to promote cinema technologies and support a healthier and greener cinema industry. CineAsia will take place from December 4^th to 7^th at the True Icon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. GDC is located on the seventh floor of True Icon Hall in meeting room MR2.

GDC shall demonstrate its SR-1000 IMB with DTS Surround Cinema audio processor on Tuesday, December 5^th at 11:30 am and again on Wednesday, December 6^th at 2:00 pm in Hall 9 on the eighth floor of True Icon Hall cinema. Additionally, GDC shall also demonstrate a laser retrofitted DLP Cinema Series 2 projector with a definitive RGB laser light source to show the bright, sharp, and striking images of pure RGB laser light. The sight and sound demonstrations are open to all delegates and invited guests.

GDC will present a wide display of new products, including:

• DTS Surround Cinema: Optimized X-curve and full-range surround speakers with enhanced bass management
• DTS:X for IAB: Up to 32 channels of realistic object-based immersive audio that supports international immersive audio standard – IAB
• SR-1000 IMB with built-in 4TB CineCache and PSD-4000-SSD Portable Storage Series: a compact and lightweight portable SSD RAID storage offering up to 6TB that can share the entire library of content with other auditoriums.
• AIB-3000 Cinema Audio Processor with DTS Surround Cinema (16-channel) audio processor with enhanced bass management

In addition, GDC will showcase a complete product line of SR Series media servers, including SR-1000 IMB with the audio capability of rendering up to 32 channels of DTS:X for IAB immersive audio that supports SMPTE’s ST 2098-2 immersive audio bitstream (IAB) standard.

To further enhance the moviegoing experience, GDC will introduce the DIVE Dynamic Lighting System, a programmable custom light show to highlight the auditorium configuration and match the preshow content.
