GDC Announces All New 6TB RAID SSD Portable Storage to Complement SR-1000 Built-in 4TB CineCache

BANGKOK, December 5, 2023 — GDC Technology Limited, a leading global provider of digital cinema solutions, today launched all new PSD-4000-SSD Series Portable Storage for its SR-1000 media server. PSD-4000-SSD is a compact and lightweight portable Solid State Drive (“SSD”) scalable storage device offering three models: 3TB, 4TB and 6TB RAID-5 storage. The PSD-4000-SSD is easy to install by only connecting the device to the SR-1000 IMB with an eSATA cable. It only weighs 1.5 kilograms (3.3 pounds) and can be easily mounted on DLP Cinema projectors and features redundant hot swappable SSD storage.
