Invitation
Once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the world’s first HDR movie in 60-nit, direct-view 3D with natural sound –
see James Cameron’s Avatar in a premium-large, perforated LED auditorium
(Shenzhen · 13th-14th Jan 2026)
As a valued partner, GDC Technology is pleased to invite you to an exclusive demonstration of a large-format (23-meter), fully perforated, acoustically transparent direct-view LED cinema in Shenzhen.
This commercial-scale installation unlocks a new standard of high-impact visual and auditory fidelity. It seamlessly integrates bright (approx. 17 FL) 3D, uniform screen imaging, and High Dynamic Range (HDR) with natural behind-screen sound. This achievement fundamentally bypasses the inherent limitations of projector-based cinemas, including low brightness, optical distortion from silver screens, and restrictive viewing angle.
Why This Invitation Matters
This demonstration represents a cinema experience that cannot be realized with traditional projection because:
- 23m-wide display with 60-nit (17-FL) high-brightness 3D
- See 3D in Its Full Brilliance: Experience 60 nits of vibrant 3D brightness, made possible by self-emissive LED screens, where traditional projectors simply fall short.
- A Perfect Seat is Every Seat: Enjoy uniform HDR picture quality and consistent 3D effects from any viewpoint, removing the frustrations of dim edges, color shift, and “sweet spot” seating.
- Extreme Dynamic Range & Motion: From the deepest blacks (0.005 nits) to dazzling highlights (300 nits) with smooth High-Frame-Rate HFR motion, witness unparalleled contrast and lifelike fluidity in 4K 3D.
- Fully Perforated, Acoustically Transparent LED Screen
- Enables true behind-screen speaker placement for accurate sound localization and natural audio reproduction.
- Commercial-Scale, Real-World Cinema Evaluation
- A live, operational cinema installation allowing direct assessment of high-brightness 3D, image uniformity, perfectly smooth motion, and sound realism in a true theatrical environment.
- Demonstration Content
- James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash presented in 60-nit 3D at 48 fps, mastered to showcase full HDR, HFR, and optimal 4K 3D performance.
- Mastering parameters confirmed, with public praise by James Cameron for cinema LED technology.
