Georgia Theatre Company Chooses GDC Technology America as the Partner to Supply and Manage Installation of Samsung Onyx LED Cinema Screens

BURBANK, CA – March 9, 2026 – GDC Technology America (GDC), a global leader in digital cinema technologies, today announced the completion of installing five Samsung Onyx cinema LED screens for Georgia Theatre Company (GTC) at its new Trilith Cinemas in Fayetteville, Georgia. GDC’s experienced team managed the project from inception to completion, bringing the filmmakers’ vision to life and delivering a successful installation in time for the theatre’s grand opening on February 12, 2026.

As global adoption of cinema LED technology accelerates, exhibitors are increasingly seeking companies that can provide turnkey solutions for designing, procuring, and installing a cinema LED screen. GDC brings extensive global experience in managing and integrating cinema LED projects, ensuring seamless coordination among LED panels, frames, and auditorium infrastructure. For the Trilith Cinemas project, GDC supplied a complete solution, including Samsung Onyx cinema LED screens, GDC DCI-certified HDR LED media servers, custom-engineered frames, and full installation services. LED screen sizes range from 5 meters (16 feet) to 6.4 meters (21 feet) across four micro-auditoriums, plus a 14-meter (46-foot) screen for a premium auditorium.

The project utilized frames designed and produced by Strong MDI Screens, and GDC worked closely with its installation partner, Strong Technical Services, to execute the installation. The auditorium, featuring a 14-meter LED, is also equipped with a DTS:X for IAB immersive sound system and GDC’s active 3D system.
