GDC Technology has taken its legendary digital cinema technology one step further to develop DSR™ Display Maestro Server that provides a complete one-stop solution for dynamic digital display on single or mosaic monitors (such as LCD and plasma) forming a video wall. DSR™ Display Maestro Server is specifically designed to meet the demanding digital signage, retail TV and public display applications. DSR™ Display Maestro is robustly built for 24x7, 365 days a year operation of large digital signage network with reliability, scalability and cost containment.

With DSR™ Network Operation Control (NOC), DSR™ Display Maestro allows various formats of presentations to be displayed at different rotation-wheel through the day, or different days of the week so as to meet specific contractual requirements. "Live" events may also be fed for display on individual screens or mosaic pictures. The system may interface and retrieve information from existing database, where text message can be combined with content at the time of presentation. Up-to-the-last-minute content and information may be uploaded remotely along with existing content.

SDM-4000 synchronously delivers 4 video channels to 4 different displays or delivers super high-resolution pictures to video wall. With NOC, SDM-4000 allows you to manage, design, deliver, schedule and exhibit on a wide range of networked displays such as LCD and plasma monitors.

With the years of experience in digital-cinema, GDC Technology's SDM-4000 delivers full-color and super-high resolution pictures to match the characteristics of the specific displays. For example, 4 by 4 displays may be configured to form a video wall using multiple SDM-4000 servers for the display of 5K by 3K resolution images.

All basic operations can be performed by simple touch-and-press or click actions on a large touch-screen LCD. Content is shown as image thumbnail on the graphical user interface. User interface is available in different languages.

Server accepts content with different frame rates, image resolutions and compression. It supports a wide range of screen resolutions and configurations. Content can be delivered via CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, VCD, DVD, mobile HDD, satellite (DVB-IP) and network transfer.

SDM-4000 has scalable storage and is tailored to digital signage application with 3 display modes:-
  • Assorted: Playout 4 different content simultaneously
  • Video Wall: Playout a single stream of super high-resolution content to a network of monitors forming a video wall
  • Duplicated: Playout the same content on all screens simultaneously
Solutions may be integrated with external data feeds to provide information such as weather, sports scores, news, movies titles and schedules.
