The SA-2000 - DSR™ Digital Film Server is the next generation of in-theater “hybrid” server for digital cinema, HDTV live events and pre-show entertainment. The SA-2000 Server performs Hollywood approved decryption, decoding and subtitle rendering. The SA-2000 Server is operable with leading DLP Cinema™ projectors and integrates seamlessly with existing theater automation and audio systems.

Besides playing D-Cinema contents, the same server also allow users to exhibit live-events, advertising, 3D and alternative contents in D-Cinema quality without needing to add another piece of equipment in the projection booth.

Server comes with an option to support real-time streaming of SDTV and HDTV broadcasting formats in either receive/decode or receive/store-and-forward mode.

Server comes with secure RAID storage for data redundancy, with minimal downtime and no data loss in case of disk failure. Storage is extensible. Password access protects the server from unauthorized usage.

Content is protected with industry proven AES 128-bit encryption and conditional access. Enhanced security comes with the incorporation of the latest CineLink™ & Hollywood-approved forensic watermarking technologies.

Flexible and future-proof
New digital cinema requirements can be easily added to the server. Server can receive upgrades and standard updates over the network. Solutions are easily customizable.

A variety of fast distribution options
Content can be rapidly downloaded to the server via DSR™ Data Cartridge, mobile HDD, satellite or network.

Simple and user friendly interface
Server comes with a single touch-screen display panel with comprehensive setup, playlist management, content preview, projector control and diagnostic capabilities. User Interface is available in different languages.

Multilingual subtitle overlay
The system enables real-time rendering of multilingual subtitles. Different subtitled versions of the content can be achieved with just a single print.

Servers at multi-locations may also be remotely managed using the DSR™ Network Operations Centre (NOC). Schedules and playlists can be created and delivered to the servers from the NOC. Playback status and log files can be monitored and retrieved from the NOC.
