GDC Technology Unveils TMS-2000 at CineAsia 2014

GDC Technology launched its next-generation TMS-2000 Theatre Management System (“TMS-2000”), in CineAsia 2014 which was held in Hong Kong in December 2014. GDC’s TMS-2000 is the ultimate next-generation theatre management solution, giving exhibitors centralized control over their entire cineplex. The newly released system offers over 50 new features and improvements to the existing functionality of the TMS-1000, which is currently used in the operation of over 13,000 screens, across 2,000 theatres.

The TMS-2000’s robust capabilities include integrated screen monitoring, with playback and equipment status displayed from a single access point; an enhanced Content Manager, which enables centralized management of content and KDM; a smarter Show Scheduler, which gives alerts regarding missing CPL or invalid KDM; and SmartRestore, a function that makes server replacement easy and instant. Meanwhile, QualityManager is an optional module that brings users excellent value in ensuring the right level of projector brightness, crisp color and crystal-clear audio. In addition, a newly developed mobile app, TmsRemote™ extends theatre management to mobile platforms for complete ease of use.

GDC Technology Heralds New Era as New Logo Goes Live

GDC Technology has strengthened its visual branding with an updated logo that reflects its commitment to innovation and quality in the rapidly evolving digital era.

In its new emblem, the GDC initials – standing for Global Digital Creations – retain pride of place at the center of the logo, reflecting the company’s solid foundations and an ongoing commitment to its core values and to satisfying customers digital cinema needs. New to the trademark, are the curved bands which enclose the type, evoking the globe and thereby alluding to GDC Technology’s standing on the world stage and to its global reach.

With its solid, clean lines, the logo’s design has a striking, contemporary feel that is reflective of GDC Technology’s forward-thinking, user-focused ethos, while its basic elements represent both continuity and another of the company’s strongest asset – its innovative approach to service and product development.

GDC Technology ships over 14,000 SX-3000 IMB Worldwide

GDC Technology has shipped over 14,000 units of its SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Block® (SX-3000 IMB) globally, making it the most widely installed IMB on the market.

SX-3000 IMB sales have grown 2% year-on-year since its introduction in H1 2013, reinforcing GDC Technology’s position as one of the world’s leading digital cinema solution providers. As of July 2014, GDC Technology holds the largest share of Asia’s digital cinema server and theater management system market, and is the No.1 digital cinema server provider in China, South Korea and Taiwan - with approximately 61%, 74% and 50% market share, respectively. GDC Technology is the second largest digital cinema server provider in the United States with more than 11,000 servers installed.*

Evergrande selects GDC SX-3000 Standalone IMB® and Theatre Management System for the digital rollout of its new cinema chain in China

GDC Technology is pleased to announce that Evergrande Cinema Line Management Co., Ltd (恒大院线管理有限公司) (“Evergrande Cinema Circuit”) has selected GDC Technology as its technology partner to provide approximately 300 units of SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Block (IMB) and 30 sets of Theatre Management System (TMS) at its cineplexes in China.
